Karly Fish is an artist whose work is centered around the photographic medium. Originally from Bristol WI, she now lives and works in Chicago, IL. She completed her undergraduate studies in Photography at Columbia College in December 2017. While Studying at Columbia, she also worked as an intern at the Museum of Contemporary Photography and focused on including fine art and poetry courses in her studies. She is currently the Curatorial and Collections Intern for the Photography Department at the Art Institute of Chicago. As she continues as a working artist, her constant goal is to exhibit and publish her work, as well as participate in the efforts of museums and other art-focused educational institutions.
Karly’s practice embraces the opportunity to explore varied styles and methods of expression, shaping her approach to reflect the complex physical and emotional aspects of personal experience.
